The BookWorm Bus
A Bus, Books and Ice Cream are eliminating the barriers created by poverty, limited opportunities, limited English, and a lack of transportation by taking library programs, resources, and services directly into neighborhoods and schools. Mary Lemist Titcomb who is credited with the first bookmobile stated, "man will not go to the book, the book must go to the man." The Bookworm Bus operates on the same premise - where knowledge makes the journey delivering God's compassionate grace through books.
